上閤屋的省思

　　明天就是媽的生日，所以今天一家人來到上閤屋。還是一樣，搞不懂為什麼有那麼多人，就算有電話預約，還是一樣要排隊劃位......搞笑......。 排了好一段時間，周圍每個人都焦躁不安，可能是餓到不耐煩吧......又過了一陣子，終於輪到我們了，時間來到下午2點25分。
　　為了吃這一頓，早餐沒吃，晚餐也不打算吃。本來早餐也不說不吃啦，只是因為早上睡到12點，而且還是被哥看午間新聞的聲音吵醒；一看時間，發現那麼晚了，就要出去吃飯了，就不吃早餐了。反正這一頓，鐵定是個 "brunner" (breakfast + lunch + dinner)。
　　說到吃到飽，當然是要吃甜點囉！在吃完鹹的部份後，女人的第二個胃出現了！今天吃的那麼撐應該都是甜點的功勞...... 吃到最後，已經不想再吃了，沒想到爸竟然拿了三碗Häagen Dazs回來...... 而且是巧克力口味...... 之前已經吃太多巧克力，什麼巧克力鍋、松露巧克力，吃了一大堆，又吃了泡芙、焦糖蛋塔、藍莓優格、乳酪慕斯、覆盆子優格...... 對那種甜甜、帶點焦糖的口感膩了，沒想到爸又挖了有焦糖口味和巧克力碎片的冰淇淋回來......

「嘔......我快吐了，這是要給誰吃啊......？」

　　可是到最後，雖然一家四口已經撐到不行，我們可一點都不浪費。我和哥，很惜福的一口一口挖著令人作嘔的冰淇淋，緩慢地送進口中，因為在遙遠的地球彼端－非洲，「每39分鐘 (正確數字已經忘了，應該不會差很多)，就有一人死於飢餓」。一邊吃著，一邊覺得這世界真不公平。我們、這邊的人們，吃到那麼撐、那麼痛苦，而他們卻必須等待國際救助。一個吃到撐，一個是餓到死，真諷刺。就算是這裡的廚餘也好，饑民們一定也很高興，但只見隔壁桌的母女４人組，把一整杯的酥皮濃湯交給服務人員清掉......天譴啊！
　　後來，我們又討論出一個結論：「這種折磨只要一年一次就好了。」一來，不要那麼浪費食物；二來，不要連吃個東西吃到最後都那麼痛苦。不過，有點矛盾的是－－誰叫我們要吃那麼飽啊？

根管治療

　　我最討厭看牙醫了、最討厭最討厭看牙醫！因為每次都一定會痛，而且是不預期地忽然發生－就是那根被醫生拿在手上的鑽子幹的好事！而且都要等好久。老是搞不懂為什麼有那麼多人蛀牙...... 每次都要花好多時間等......

　　可是當情況已經到要去看醫生的時候，就不能再拖了...... 我已經飽受牙痛之苦一段時間了...... 只要一吃或喝「低於體溫」的東西、或熱的食物，牙齒就好痛啊！就連刷牙漱口、喝開水都很痛苦，那種痛彷彿從遠處而來，一口一口地大吃我可憐的神經，一直一直鑽到最深處...... 有一次早餐吃的太順，直接一口咬下冰涼的蘋果，痛死人了，差點叫出來，可是不行，因為早修時間大家都在寫考卷......

　　隨著日漸頻繁的牙痛，我知道，看牙醫只是遲早的事。

　　就在今天晚上、等了半小時多以後，終於輪到我了。要做根管治療也是預料中的事。醫生剛好是牙科部的主任，快手快腳地打了麻針、在牙齒上挖洞、抽了神經，但是療程只做一半，星期六還要補齊。現在因為麻醉藥效，嘴邊右半部的部分完全沒感覺，口水就快流出來...... 連右邊的鼻孔也被藥效影響，一直都麻麻的...... 鼻翼擴張時感覺非常奇特...... 星期六要再去一趟，這樣也好，因為星期日是媽的生日，要去吃好料的。如果因為牙痛而不能吃冰或熱的東西，那真是一大折磨！我的 Häagen Dazs 正等著我呢！！
