So I could not hear
The roaring of anger,
The tears of heartbreaks,
And the delusion of a family
that was once or never
Happily ever after.

It was a game of decibel--
The louder you shouted
The deeper you stabbed.
Everyone was loser;
Winner got it all--
The fury, the pain, and
The disappointment.

I wish I was born deaf
Except before someone could
Enlighten me the importance or
